The new supermarket near our house has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.
When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and experience the scent of fresh hay.
When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon...

This website is officially not in our hands any more. The new operators have finally made it into the server and made their first change—the menu stuff is on the left instead of the right. Bold! But no new content yet; I’m looking forward to seeing how it stacks up against the article selections and translations we did during our year in charge of the site.
